Review of Essential Earth Exfoliating Cleanser with Lemongrass

I will hold my hands up to being a fan of organic skincare as far as I am concerned why plaster your skin with loads of mass produced chemical concoctions if you don’t need to. I have one of those problem skins which is oily with flaky patches so I always approach new skincare with caution but I absolutely loved this. So pure that you could eat it although it doesn’t look very appetising I must admit.
Suitable for vegans this gentle exfoliating cleanser left my skin feeling clean hydrated and soft. No harsh skin tightness experienced but gentle yet through exfoliation, contains oats which are renowned for their exfoliating properties. The lemongrass smells deliciously refreshing and has anti microbial and anti bacterial properties which make it ideal for acne prone skin. Lemongrass also has an astringent action which constricts the skin and helps to minimise and tighten pores. Also contains bog myrtle and coconut oil both prized for their beneficial effect on the skin. Live Native skin foods are handmade from living ingredients which are either unrefined or unpasteurised and chosen particularly for their raw or low temperature extraction and processing methods.
At £24.60 for 35gram this is an eco luxury range of skincare but a little goes a long way and you know you are worth it!
To apply: - First hold a warm wet cloth to your face to help relax the pores, repeat this 3 times. Mix a little in the palm of your hand with warm water to form a sticky paste. Gently massage into your face with both hands without scrubbing the rhassoul clay in the cleanser will attract and absorb the dirt of the day. After about a minute rinse off with warm water. Finish with cold water to close the pores and remove the last of the dirt.
