I have mentioned elsewhere on the website that my inspiration for selling organic cotton was my grandson Jacob. It was because I was concerned for his welfare that my interest in organic cotton and other ecological issues developed.

I am happy to report that he is thriving, now aged 21 months he is talking and getting into all manner of mischief. He and his dog Boomer are seldom apart and his mother is not sure which of them is the naughtiest. He recently appeared with me in a newspaper article modeling some of the clothes. The pictures were taken on the riverbank and there were times when I thought we might end up in the river!

I had never appreciated how difficult it is for professional photographers to take pictures of children. Jacob was initially quite alarmed at having a complete stranger pointing a camera at him but this was the result.
