I always seem to start this blog by telling you what a busy day I've had and sorry to be boring but today is no exception. Shula had her obedience class this morning she only has one more session before she takes her bronze certificate test and is doing really well. Then we went to try to buy some chicken wire but  nobody seemed to have what we wanted so thats a job for Monday. My chickens are exceptional escapologists as I have mentioned before so we need really high wire.

It's the time of reckoning for the feathered houdini's their new shed arrived this afternoon and they are being relocated and having a SECURE run. Peter and my father have cleared a large area of the accumulation of years of rubbish and my job was to move the composter out of the way, which was heavy going with maximum help from the two dogs who thought it was snack time! I dug the compost from the bottom into my vegetable patch and replaced the newer stuff back into the bin. I have also begun sowing and got a couple of rows of peas in and sticks up. Our next task is to move the new shed into position which will be tricky because it has to go through two gateways. But it will all be worth it if I can grow my vegetables and tend the garden without everything being eaten! Tomorrow I plan to sow lots more seeds if it keeps dry.
