The title just about sums up how I am feeling at present I have just returned from having a molar removed. I won't give you the gory details but suffice to say it feels like I've had a punch in the jaw and it's ringing.
I was reading a very thoughtful and interesting blog today about the inconsistencies we face when trying to buy ethically produced goods. Some people might be more interested in a companies human rights record and others priority is animal rights for example and the two are not necessarily compatible in the same companies. A company who treats it's producers badly might treat it's factory workers very well so do you boycott the product and put those people who need their wages out of work?I suppose this leads us back to the old adage you can please some of the people most of the time but you can't please everybody all of the time(Have I got that right sorry my brain is a bit fuddled). So I guess what I'm saying is you have to pick your cause and go with it because the world is full of injustices and you can't fight them all. Reading this back it sounds quite defeatist but I think it makes sense. You may not agree I would be interested to hear others thoughts.
Well I think that this is going to be a short blog tonight as I am a bit groggy and keep spelling everything wrong my concentration is shot! Poor me!!
