I am writing my blog very late today because apart from a walk with the dogs I have been hard at work on my shop all day. Apologies if you have been looking in there today and wondering what is happening if it keeps changing and bits disappearing I'm afraid it was me. I have changed the sizes so that there is a drop down box instead of a row of  the same picture. Take a look and let me know what you think. This is the first part of my programme to simplify the shop. Tomorrow I shall start adding some of the new summer clothes and the next project after that is to make the categories a bit easier.

It's taken me a while top work out what needs doing in my initial naivety I thought that once you had your website up that was that. I know I changed small things like offer of the month etc but I had not anticipated changing the bigger things. But you live and learn as they say so keep watching.
Here's a link so you can go and visit My Shop

I have also been thinking about carrier bags (strange things I think about in my spare time). I was reading a blog today about a lady who said that she was addicted to bags not plastic I hasten to add. As you probably may know I have Sones reusable cloth bags and recycled paper for the show but I was listening to a discussion on the radio the other day and somebody was saying that all the bag discussion is completely over hyped. So what is your opinion? Anyway must close now I have some more chores to do.

No, the bag thing is certainly not overhyped. You just have to look at a stack of plastic bags in the supermarket and you know that most of them are not reused but go straight to landfill. They never degrade. They leach chemicals into the soil and are very damaging to wildlife if ingested, which they are frequently.
It really is very important to reduce our consumption of these things. It does take a while to get used to admittedly. But it isn't impossible. It just takes a bit of remembering and planning.

I have about 7 cotton bags and I only paid for one of those. There is no excuse!
