"We must become the change we want to see in the world" Mahatma
Ghandhi. Pretty cool statement huh? I found this comment and thought it
was very pertinent to the world that we live in now even though it was
obviously said a long time ago and presumably referred to the political
situation in India at the time. But has it got any easier to become the
change? I don't think so but perhaps you have other ideas. I think
this spoke to me particularly after the comments I made yesterday about
wrapped produce and how I for whatever reason went along with
it and bought them anyway for convenience. What would you have done?
How do you see the world in the next 50 years do you think it will be a
better place? Most people you meet seem to hanker for a past that is
tinted with rose coloured spectacles. I think that perhaps we have more
care for the world community now than we did in the past and that can
only be a positive thing. Maybe it's just that the world has got
smaller with all the travelling that we tend to do nowadays and the
media makes everything so much closer but do we then suffer from
indifference because we are over exposed?
Well I do seem to be in a thoughtful mood today, you will all be crying
into your pillows tonight if I don't shut up and be a bit more positive. Well I've just uploaded this picture so that's cheered me up! Speak soon, Linda
