I had to deliver our tom cat to the vet today for his alterations and had planned to take the dogs to the beach after I had dropped him off. But the weather was AWFUL rain/snow wind yeeuch! So we didn't go to the beach but I did take them for a walk around the loch(not all the way round).
Shula had a swim honestly nothing puts that dog off and we all got extremely wet. I think I mentioned the other day how low our river was, well not any more it's like a raging torrent! It's amazing to me how quickly it can change even Shula looks askance at it when it's like this. I left the chickens in their inner run this morning I thought they might get blown away literally but they are very ungrateful and were extremely annoyed with me. They were all sitting on the roof seeking an escape route when I went down at lunchtime.
They are like a bunch of feathered Houdini's and seem to be able to get out all the time then they arrive triumphantly at the back door having eaten everything on route.

I am thinking now after my meeting with Seoris that I will have to hire a van to get to Glasgow there is no way everything will fit in my car. So I have been phoning around for quotes today. I am hoping to see my cheeky grandson over the weekend. He apparently threatens the dog when he is naughty that he will be "sent to grannies" but still likes to come himself because he likes my homemade biscuits which he calls 'dibbies' not sure why? He has some very odd words for some things which I'm sure will stick in the family for ever. Tomato ketchup is 'gabbas'. Do your kids have strange words for things? I remember my youngest son called Granny Smith apples Granny Sniffs and we have never let him forget it.

Great blog!! A breath of fresh air for me here in London, where I am surrounded by tall towers and office blocks and the only greenery is a park the size of a postage stamp!

I'm pleased that you viewed my blog as a breath of fresh air! I miss the theatres etc. (a little bit) but not enough to come back on a permanent basis.
